CONSTRUCTION
I represent clients throughout central and south Texas engaging in all aspects of construction including owners and developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. The focus of my practice is in the preparation, perfection, and litigation of mechanic’s liens and bond claims, as well as preparation of contracts and contract dispute litigation. I have years of experience working a wide variety of matters to include schools, hotels, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes, automobile dealerships, commercial finish-out, and road projects, for clients in every category from material supplier to owner/developer.
COLLECTION
I represent corporate and individual clients in collecting debts in various amounts and in various stages of delinquency. Representation includes making demand, filing suit, using writ executions, attachments, garnishments, and lien foreclosures when debtors refuse to pay.
CONSUMER
I represent clients who have suffered damages resulting from misrepresentations relating to a number of situations, including service contracts and home purchases. The experience I garnered from working for Ford Motor Company in the late 1970s provides extra insight in dealing with automobile related disputes, and insight from being a pilot added the knowledge I used to help a client with a claim regarding a catastrophic engine failure during takeoff.
