RICHARD E GREENBLUM
Attorney at Law
About
I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1978, and a Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University Law School in 1983. I was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1983, and the United States District Court, Western District of Texas, 1987. In 2000 Martindale-Hubbell awarded me with its highest rating of “AV.”

From 1983 through 1992 my practice was general in nature and included representation of banks, large and small business, construction companies, consumers in deceptive trade practices claims, and individuals in a variety of matters. Since 1992, my practice has principally concentrated in the areas of construction and collection matters. I am a former board member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association.

After passing the bar, I moved to Austin to accept a position with Salmanson, Smith, Deitch & Travis, and later became a founding partner in Deitch, Egan, Greenblum & Hamilton, also in Austin. Before attending law school, I worked in a technical department of Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan. After serving more than 24 years, I retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve. I am functional in Spanish.
